...well this is my foray into the world of blogging. It's a daunting task trying to come up with an interesting topic to share with whoever is taking the time to read this. Will it be interesting enough? Will anyone care? So I've done some research and checked out some of my peers' (or it is peer's) blogs for inspiration. Alot of my friends use them to post pictures of their children, chronicle the planning of a wedding or the progression of a pregnancy. Some blogs I've seen aren't really about anything at all. Funny...the theme from Seinfeld just popped into mind. Anywho, I digress...well since I don't have any kids, I'm not pregnant and I'm not planning a wedding, I guess for now this blog will consist of funny stories, anecdotes, pet peeves, movie reviews and whatever else strikes my fancy. I'll try to come up with something more interesting for subsequent posts, or maybe I won't...it's my blog and I'll write what I want to. Until next time...

PS The photo above was taken very early one morning in July 2003 while waiting for a ferry to take me from Greece to Italy. I was asleep on the bus and woke up just in time to catch this beautiful sight. The picture can't quite capture how magnificent this sunrise really was.
