What the F*&% was that snake thing?!!?! - UPDATED

okay...I don't even know where to begin...I didn't pay attention in Science class much in school and I don't like snakes, at all, so if there was any kind of lesson on them, you were pretty much guaran-freakin-teed that I didn't pay attention then either (Hate snakes: Reason 1-fear transfer from my grandmother, she couldn't even look at them on TV; Reason 2-a neighbourhood bully threw a dead garter snake on me when I was a kid, asshole).

So as I'm watching tonight's Survivor episode, one of the brief nature shots the show usually airs to fill in time has this snake yawning, and from its mouth comes this seemingly translucent snake clone that's probably as long as the mother ship. I was at Christy and Reid's watching the show and Christy and I looks at each other, right, and I says to 'er "well I can honestly say that I have never seen anything even remotely close to that on TV...what the hell was that?!?!?!". (catch the newfie speak there?! she brings it out of me everytime!)

I can't tell you, with any great amount of detail, about what happened during the rest of the show because I was still focused on that nasty snake thing. Oh my God!!! What was that?! If you know, please try to explain it to me. That just wasn't right! I'm going to have a nightmare about that for sure tonight! GUARANTEED!

If you didn't catch the episode and can't quite adequately imagine what I'm talking about then I'm sure it'll be on YouTube because I'm sure people are going to be talking about it tomorrow. If it is on there, I'll post a video.

It's just plain nasty!

PART II!!

Here it is (another reason why YouTube rocks - Playback by Demand)!!! According to the remarks the snake is regurgitating food...gross! But yet, I can't stop watching it...the whole train wreck theory, I guess.

VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED!!!

Glad you saw it and had the same reaction as me! I know I asked Pete a dozen times "what the hell was that!". It may be one of the creepiest things that has made me shiver since John Mark Karr!

Ewwwww!!! It's like a train wreck that I just can't turn away from! They should have added some gagging sound effects to make it even more disgusting!

I'm still amazed that out of all the snakes in the world, this one camera (which was more than likely set up stationarily - because who would have the time or patience to keep their camera fixated on one spot for any length of time) would catch this extraordinary, albeit gross, feat. Totally random...The show has a slight National Geographic feel to it, dont'cha think?!

I remember that neighborhood bully who threw the dead snake at you because I was right beside you!! A little snake no bigger than the size of a straw can still stop me dead in my tracks and make my heart jump into my throat. That was just disgusting!
