The picture above was our Grade 2 class picture taken in Mlle. Cyr's classroom at Park St. School in June of 1982. Alot has changed since then. The hairstyles, the fashion, our personalities among many other things. We've put on a couple (and I stress couple ;) ) extra pounds, a couple of gray hairs have begun to peek through but despite these changes I still see us as those two carefree exuberant girls, I probably always will. Many things will change but alot will remain the same.
I'm often reminded of a saying "people come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime". Luckily for me, she's been a part of my life for all three :)

Thanks friend!!! Boy oh boy that pic is from long ago! We were definately meant to be life long friends! :) We've been through alot and will be through so much more! Looking forward to lunch/dinner!

I also had Mlle Cyr for grade two. What a great lady! Thanks for the memories...and a few giggles at the outfits, etc.

Yeah, our sense of style has certainly changed since then. It's funny, out of all the teachers I had, I always remember her as the nicest one. Not like Mlle. Michaud who threw erasers at us, Mr. Poitras (aka Toilet Breath), Mr. Godin (aka Pit Stains) and supply teacher Mlle. Reeves who always wore that owl necklace...we used to be so mean to her. Hopefully I'll still get in to heaven ;)

I still have that picture kicking around someplace too! That's too funny...What's even funnier is that we are still good friends! So many memories from Park St School. I laughed out loud at the ones you've highlighted! Mlle. Reeves still wears the owl, I saw her at Sobeys not too long ago.
